Politicians are not only failing our farmers, but also hard-working families.
Too many people feel unheard, and too many basic priorities have gone unaddressed.
Kings County deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and delivers results.
I will work every day to earn your vote and to deliver what we deserve.
Meet Martin
I grew up right here in Kings County. Like many local families, my parents worked long days on the farm and taught me a simple lesson: nothing is given. You earn it.
Today, I work as the Farmer Relations Director for Pacific Farm Management Inc., where I work alongside our farmers every day, helping address the challenges they face and supporting the industry that powers our local economy. I am also honored to represent our region as a Nuffield International Farming Scholar, a highly competitive and prestigious program that supports agricultural leaders in exploring global practices and developing ideas to strengthen communities like ours.
My commitment to Kings County extends beyond my profession. I served on the Stratford Public Utilities District for several years, helping lead efforts to develop a new water well during a critical time for our community. I also served on the steering committee for More Water Now, a statewide initiative aimed at funding long overdue water projects throughout California.
In addition, I serve on the board of the Lemoore Union School District Foundation for Educational Excellence. After attending Lemoore High School while taking classes at West Hills Community College, I earned my Economics degree from UC Merced.
I will listen, show up, and work tirelessly to get things done, as I’ve done my whole life. Here’s my cell phone number:
559-639-3308. If you call, I will call you back – and not just around election time.

Issues
We All Need Reliable Water
Remember in 2018 when Stratford didn’t have water? I do.
Reliable water is essential for our farms, families, and businesses. I’ve seen firsthand how critical this issue is, and will work tirelessly to secure the water resources our community depends on, like I did in 2018 while being a board member on Stratford Public Utilities District.
Despite having all four severely impacted wisdom teeth removed during those same days, I still showed up for our Stratford residents and did everything I could as a board member to get water restored as quickly as possible.
Law Enforcement, I Have Your Back
Gang-related crime in Kings County is on the rise. I will fight to ensure law enforcement has the resources needed to address this threat to public safety.
For instance, the average overall crime rate was approximately 3,061 per 100,000 residents over the past two years, suggesting a troubling upward trajectory. Additionally, operations targeting gang activity, such as "Operation Royal Flush," have resulted in numerous arrests, highlighting ongoing gang-related issues in the area.

Our County Roads Are Horrible
The roads we use every day are unsafe and need repair – and cause accidents. They need to be fixed immediately. I will work to get this done.
Nobody wants a flat tire or to be involved in an accident. We deserve well paved roads, not just signs that say "Rough Road".
